*** RESULTS ***
LeJoueur is our champion! It swept GreenShell in four matches of Chess and Breakthrough in the finals after rallying past chess master* QFWFQ in the semifinals thanks to victories at Reversi Suicide and Shmup. They were joined on day two by first-time competitor WoodStock, an entry from a team at CRIL in France. Congratulations to LeJoueur and its creator Jean-Noël Vittaut of Paris 8 University!

The 2015 Tiltyard Open for General Game Playing will be held on Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5th. The exact schedule, including start time, is TBD. (In some time zones, it will likely extend into Sunday the 6th.)
The tournament will use a Swiss format variant adapted specifically for GGP to accommodate its wider variety of games. The top four competitors from the Swiss rounds will then participate in a single-elimination playoff. Both new and existing games will make an appearance.
The tournament will be hosted on Tiltyard on top of its existing infrastructure.
Entrants of all skill levels are welcome. There is no qualification round. The only entry restriction is that players must be able to complete a full match without error on Tiltyard. (Participants are expected to resolve technical issues with connecting to Tiltyard beforehand.)
More details, including instructions on signing up, will come at a later date. You can RSVP to alandau@cs.stanford.edu with your player name, author names, and email address to ensure that you will receive future updates.
